How to spend money and not feel guilty doing it

We all get the urge to spend a little money sometimes, even when we know the things we are buying aren't a necessity. Here's a little trick to urge off those shopping sprees.

Things You'll Need:

Keep your money at home

Step
1

We all need to spend a little cash sometimes. whether its to blow off steam or just because we feel like it. Here's a tip on how to shop and not feel guilty.

Step
2

Fill your cart! and as you fill your cart keep a mental tally of how much money you are "spending" with each item. Don't think too hard about it though, pretend you have all the cash in the world.

Step
3

Keep on adding things to that cart, more than likely when you've looked at that mound of useless stuff, you'll start getting the urge to put those things back. You've probably filled half that cart with objects you've noticed you really don't need.

Step
4

Now lets start putting them back, you shouldn't feel guilty, just happy that you realized you don't need most of those things.

Step
5

CONGRATULATIONS! You've gone shopping and spent about 80% less than you would have if you thought about each item you were about to buy. The more you filled your cart the better you felt because in the end you knew you really didn't need to buy that third pair of pants you already have in black and cream.
